Thanks for coming to my show!

Thank you all for visiting my first exhibition at Sequential Art Gallery last month. The reception night was wonderful. I was so happy to see so many people there and to have a chance to talk about my art! Here are some photos from the reception night.

Vagabond Brewing growler design

I had a wonderful opportunity to design the logo for this limited-edition growler for Vagabond Brewing, the fastest growing craft brewery located in Salem, OR. It was a lot of fun working with friends, and I feel honored to be able to help local businesses flourish.

Find more about the limited-edition growler and Vagabond Brewery on their official website.

New prints and commissions at RCCC 2015

Thanks for everyone who visited my table at yesterday’s Rose City Comic Con!

I had a couple of new prints for sale this time. One is based on characters from my original comic “Children of Loki.” I’m glad to see many people liked this piece 🙂

It was great catching up with old friends and meet new people! 🙂

I don’t have any more conventions planned for this year, as I’m working on a serial comic project at the moment. I’ll be sure to attend RCCC next year though!

Reward Print for “Dark Anna and the Pirates” Kickstarter

I had an honor of contributing my drawing to my friend Aaron Duran and Ethan Slayton‘s exciting new Kickstarter project “Dark Anna and the Pirates.” They will make it one of the reward prints for people who backed certain perks. The campaign was extremely successful (congrats!), and I’m looking forward to seeing their finished book! 🙂

Here’s the Dark Anna print I made for the project.

Mentioned on Bleeding Cool!

It’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog, but lots have happened in the past few months. I’m working on few new projects, met lots of cool people at NYCC, did a comic-making workshop for kids at a local public library.

Last October, I attended (as a visitor) at New York Comic Con for my first time! Just the sheer size of the event was mind-blowing. One of the greatest things that happened there among many is my latest comic “A Quite Trail of Tears and Bloods” was mentioned on Bleeding Cool.

Check out the full article here to see what they have to say about my comic! I feel very honored and thankful to wonderful Hanna Shannon whom I had so much fun talking with at Image/Multiversity party.

Another thing I did recently is a comic-making workshop at Woodburn Public Library. It was my very first time to teach others how to draw comics, so I was naturally a little nervous, but all the kids had so much passion for art, I really enjoyed helping them out. It was a truly inspirational experience for me too.
